Opening Night Tomorrow

13 Nov

I’m excited to report that last night the cast of “Savior of the World” had a very successful “preview” night in which we performed for an audience for the first time! It was exciting to have people out there in the audience seeing us present this wonderful musical. The last couple of weeks have been quite busy and time-consuming as we’ve prepared for our opening on Friday, November 14. Last weekend alone, I was at the Conference Center Theater for almost 20 hours! But it’s been amazing to see it all come together — the acting, singing, costumes, make-up, props, sets, lighting and sound. My mom and sister Amy came to the preview show last night and loved it. My beard and longer hair look pretty good in those robes!

Tickets are no longer available online. HOWEVER, if you want to come see me in the show, come to the Conference Center Theater at about 6:45 on Wednesdays or Fridays or at 1:15 on Saturday, and you can get in line to purchase stand-by tickets at the box office. I’ve been told that 95% of the time, those in the “stand-by” line can get in.  I’d love it if you could come. It’s an excellent production with an amazing message of faith, hope and love.

I really wish we could see you in your show. That would make a great date with my husband. Unfortunately, our toddler has recently adopted the hysterics routine with babysitters, so I think we will have to stay closer to home. Any chance of posting a picture of yourself in costume to the blog?

You need to post a picture of your new hairdo and beard.
